Poetry

Sometimes, when i'm bored, or tired, angry, or just feel like it I write. I think it's a good outlet for things when you need to get something out.It doesn't matter if it makes sense to anyone but you. It doesn't matter if it rhymes or if it's long or short, as long as it says what you want it to. That is the beauty of poetry and of writing in general. There are so many times when you have things to say, feelings to express and sometimes nothing at all other than random words floating around. I say, write them down. You never know when it will help or make you feel better to get it out. And who knows, you might find out you're good at it :) So think about writing something, anything. Not only can it be beneficial, but you might like it and I can guarantee you that it will make you smarter.

Here is something I wrote back in July.

Look deeper than what you see.
So much lies underneath.
The surface world is transparent.
Waiting for someone like you
To look into the pool that is my soul
And see what lies beneath.
Look deeper than what you see
So Much can be hidden
By cloudy, grey emotions
That mask the truth so clear
Yet seems so hesitant to emerge
Look deeper than what you see
Under the shy exterior
Lies a person so beautiful
Take the time to see someone worth knowing
Just look a little deeper.
